Lubuntu Linux : Installing Lazarus-IDE
create a new user account by accessing: TaskbarMenu>SystemTools>UserandGroups
then create a administrator account; Logout then Login with the new account;
Opening Terminal:::
with FileManager"Windows Explorer", navigate where the downloaded files are then
do Tools>OpenCurrentFolderOnTerminal
type
sudo bash
and the administrator password for grant the root"super user" access;
♦️ fpc_srcxxx.deb seem to not have any requirements to install;
file already downloaded;
install the package with the following command
dpkg -i packagename.deb♦️ Requirements for installing fpc_xxx.deb
file already downloaded;
libgcc
to install libgcc do on terminal the following command
apt-get install build-essential
now install the package with the following command
dpkg -i packagename.deb♦️ Requeriments for installing lazarus-project_xxx.deb
file already downloaded;
libgtk2.0-dev, gdb
make sure to have system updated by TaskbarMenu>SystemTools>SoftwareUpdater
open and reload↷ TaskbarMenu>SystemTools>SynapticPackageManager
with Synaptic Package Manager do Search and type::now install the package with the following command
libgtk2.0-dev select the item, right click:mark for installation then click Apply✔️...
gdb select the item, right click:mark for installation then click Apply✔️..
